About us Philosophy Wines Winery Neighbourhood Press Stay updated Friends of Begude Downloads Contact VineyardWe are very lucky to have met some great people in the few years we have been in the Aude; the following is a list of our friends who offer super services in one form or another: Accommodation & Gastronomy - Le Trésor is the most exquisite boutique bed & breakfast run by young English couple, Tilly & Will Howard, about 20mins from here in Sonnac. - Grand Hôtel Moderne et Pigeon is a wonderful little hotel in Limoux, run by Jean-Luc Desmoineaux and his family. - Nikki & Craig run a great gite about 40mins away in Puivert - Nearer to home in Villarzel du Razes our friends Laurence & Michel have a wonderful up market Chambres d’Hotes. - Peter & Katie Lawton have the most fabulous chambre d'hôte in the old Abbaye at Camon - Our friends Alison & Kevin Downie who rent out a super gite just outside Limoux:: kevindownie2@btinternet.com - If it is fantastic food you are looking for in the area it is definitely worth trying Le Parc and Coté Ferme in Carcassonne and the awesome Marcou in La Cité & Le Relais Royal in Mirepoix. www.tournoulehaut.com is a Private Chateau for rent near us just south of Limoux. - Mark & Peter's beautiful Villa de Mazamet, a luxury Bed & Breakfast Local Services: - Pierre Benet has the most amazing nursery in Cepie with the largest selection of roses in the Aude. He also does landscaping and is responsible for the vast majority of the transformation at Begude. Sadly he has no website, but can be contacted on 06 77 06 83 02. - Imprimerie D3 , the printers in Cepie will happily help you with any printing matters; ask for Jean-Paul Mes. - If it is a good hairdresser you are looking for do go and see lovely Josette Rieussec in Carcassonne - Arcadie, the organic supermarket in Cepie, has everything you could ever want in the quest for healthy & tasty living. No website, but just off the main road in Cepie, next door to the nursery. - Richard Westbrook and his team at Sky in France do a fantastic job installing and servicing satellite TVs. - For information on all other things Languedoc take a look at Jamie & Greca’s all encompassing site No doubt we have left some people out and for that we can only apologise- it is an oversight and not intentional!
