Le Crémant de Begude

Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Vinification: Natural indigenous yeast fermentation in two 10 year old Francois Frères demi muids; bottled in October 2021 and disgorged in March 2024. Zero sulphur added during wine making process. Zero dosage. 2 years sur lattes. 12% alc.
Tasting Note: Fine bubbles, great natural acidity as always from Begude and pleasingly ample Chardonnay fruit lead to this being a well rounded Crémant de Limoux.
Food pairing: A celebratory aperitif that also works well with Lobster dishes, such as barbecued lobster with lime and garlic and naturally a classic Lobster Thermidor!
